Technology offers the equipment and chemicals to remove contaminants
from water, including suspended solids, oils, dissolved heavy metals
and color. If you have an existing system our reactant chemicals may
help meet municipal discharge parameters and improve system
efficiency. |

FAST
Process an entire batch in less than 45 minutes.
Standard batch sizes are 55, 100, 200, 500, 750 and
1,000 gallons. Full-auto and custom systems are
available. |

 |
EASY TO USE
Single chemical process is simple. These systems
are designed with custodial personnel as the
intended operators. |
ECONOMICAL
Low capital cost. Low cost to operate. We will gladly analyze your
effluent to determine operational cost and equipment requirements.
We will then provide you with a quotation, lab results and a sample
of reactant for bench testing. |
NO FILTER PRESS REQUIRED
Resultant floc/sludge is separated via a gravity bed
filter and sludge is automatically dispensed into the
included gondola. |
SAFE
Unlike traditional systems requiring pH adjustment
with dangerous acids & alkalis prior to polymers,
coagulants, filter-aids and lime, our one-step
reactant is non-hazardous and safe to use. |

TYPICAL PROCESS FLOW

The RT Reactors are the machines at the heart of the system.
These machines are designed to mix, separate and discharge
effluents. Equipped with many labor saving features, these machines
are easy to use. Components include name brands such as Allen
Bradley, Wilden, Zoeller and others making these machines dependable
and reliable with a three-year warranty. They are available in a
variety of configurations with several options including a hands
free fully automated version.
We also provide tanks, pumps, transfer systems, pre and post
treatment. We offer a full line of equipment to compliment these
systems and handle your effluent from generation to discharge. |
| The following is a description of the
flocculation process in one of our RT Reactors: |
|
Stage One:
The RT Unit is filled with
effluent. The turbine mixer is started and Reactant Powder is added. After
(5) minutes of mixing a large floc will form. The mixer is then stopped
and settling of the floc to the bottom of the tank occurs, usually in a
couple of minutes.
|
 |
|
Stage two:
Once the settling of the floc has
occurred, draining and filtering begins. Clarified water from the upper
area of the tank is drained first, followed by the floc. Filter media
captures the floc, now sludge, allowing the clarified water through to a
clean compartment. A discharge pump automatically transfers the fluids to
sewer or recycling vessel.
|
 |
|
Stage
three:
An automated conveyor advances the filter
media and sludge as needed. This usually requires only 5 feet of filter
media. An included self-tipping sludge gondola captures the filter media
and sludge for disposal. The sludge dries to a cake, without need of a
filter press. The process is now complete. The water is ready for reuse,
or discharge to sewer. The sludge can be disposed of to landfill. |
